Animals in Distress - For a Cruelty-Free Future

Thank you very much for showing some interest in my petition.  As it is an issue facing all of us.  Whether we have animals or not, they are all around us.  Animal cruelty is one of the biggest issues facing us in this decade.  Animals in Distress exists to prevent animal cruelty and to help those who have been effected by this cause.

Animals come to the Rescue Centre for a variety of reasons including bereavement, illness, relationship breakdown, financial reasons and ,sadly, cruelty and neglect. The policy of the Charity is never to turn away an animal in distress and never to have an animal put to sleep unless, on veterinary advice, it is too ill or dangerous to be re-homed.

Helping out ‘Animals in Distress’ through donation is a big way in which you can do your bit to stop innocent lives being miss-treated. Another way by spending time amoungst the animals and by helping the staff  You could give time by walking the dogs there, which is a simple enjoyable thing to do or you could visit an Animals in Distress’ charity shop; there are some in Babacombe, Brixham, Paignton, Newton Abbot, Dawlish, Totnes and Bovey Tracey.
