To the House of Commons, the petition of the people of Llanelli declares that following a series of incidents connected to a property in Swansea Rd designated as a “bail hostel” and concern that the managers of the hostel have refused to meet with any residents except the most immediate neighbours, and then only after being asked to,

the petitioners therefore request that the House of Commons make it a requirement that the public should be informed of any proposal to use a property as a “bail hostel”, that such a change of use should require planning committee approval and that managers of such properties should be required to take a pro-active approach to contacting local residents, and that, until such time as these requirements are met, the “bail hostel” should be closed down
