Crime Spotter Buffalo City

Crime Spotter Buffalo City is a not-for-profit organization run by dedicated Buffalo City citizens that have tired of the crime within our region.

We are not a vigilante, militant or missionary group fixated on violence and aggression. We are a support unit for the SAPS which assists with various crimes, ranging from house break-ins, attempted robberies, muggings, assaults and abuse. We apprehend alleged criminals when we are able and turn them over to the South Africa Police Service to proceed with prosecution.

We rely on the public, to bring to our attention, crimes that are taking place in your community. By no means should you only call us. Always call your local police station or 10111 to report a crime. By posting on our wall, or calling us on 043 748 4991, we can assist in your particular situation. ALSO CALL THE POLICE OR OTHER EMERGENCY SERVICE REQUIRED!

Our aim is to make Buffalo City a safer place for all. We are, however, a small group of individuals. Therefore, we do not have the manpower to get to EVERY request for assistance. We do try our best and if we are unable to assist, we politely urge the police to assist as promptly as possible.


* We would like to work hand in hand with the  SAP and other emergency units, we have a           powerfull information page and a good support from the community. 

* Together we can combat crime and make Buffalo City a safer place for our kids, community, visitors and tourist.

*  With the votes from this petition we would like to approach senior management at SAPS to get Crime Spotter endorsed with the SAPS.
