Sign Drew Brees to a long-term, viable contract

Eight games a year, over 70,000 Saints fans fill the Mercedes-Benz Superdome to watch the greatest NFL quarterback perform feats of sports magic. Hundreds of thousands of more fans watch along at home.
Yet, as of this moment, Drew Brees has not been given a suitable contract to play for our beloved team.
Despite breaking countless NFL records and leading our team to a Super Bowl victory, all while being highly underpaid for his skillset and position. Granted, the team's management and coaching staff took a chance - but we all see how that gamble worked out.
For the past two seasons, we knew that Drew needed a new contract. One that paid him what he deserves. One that keeps him in this city. Yet, one has not materialized.
By signing this petition, you are urging the management team of the New Orleans Saints - specifically Mickey Loomis – to pick up the phone and get this deal done.
