This petition is being circulated by neighbors and friends in Elmwood Park who believe that the cost of living in Elmwood Park is quickly growing out of hand due to 20 years of annual property tax increases, water rate and surcharge hikes, and growing salaries and spending by the current administration.

We, the electors of the Village of Elmwood Park, request that President Silvestri and the Board of Trustees immediately repeal the water rate increase they unanimously approved on December 5, 2011 and replace it only with the Chicago water rate increase in real dollars.
