To All Browns Fans

I am a Cleveland Browns fan. I have suffered losing season after losing season, and I have witnessed coaches and front offices come and go at a sickening rate. I want to win! But I have been misrepresented.

The nation and certain members of our own Cleveland media believe I am fed up, have given up, and have lost all faith in our current regime. They believe I want a quick fix, another overhaul, more dramatic changes. No move that is made is ever good enough, and every move that is not made is criticized, second guessed and attibuted to a lack of caring by our own front office. They believe I think my city isn't isnt good enough for players to want to come here, and they believe I have submitted to the idea that no player ever will. But this is not who I am, I am smarter than that. I'm tired of being viewed by outsiders as something that I most definately am not.

By signing this document I agree that all or most of the following ideas represent who I am as a Cleveland Browns fan:

Untill proven othewise I have faith in the leaders of this franchise

I believe in the way this team is being built

I understand the process and accept it will take time to reach our goal

I believe we are headed in the right direction

Although I dont agree with every move that is made, I will reserve final judgement until I see how it plays out.

I accept that Heckert and Holmgren won't always make the right move, and I promise not to hold it over their heads when they screw up

I believe the younger generation of Browns fans want to be loyal and passionate, but are corrupted by the negative influences that dominate the radio and tv

I believe it is my responsibilty to groom and support the passion of younger fans by being more vocal with my support

I would love a big name free agent, but I understand the reasoning behind why you dont overpay for one

I trust Mike Holmgren and Tom Heckert are doing what they believe is best for this franchise in the longterm

I love MY city, and believe that players will love it here too

I 100% support the players on the current roster and any that are yet to come

I cant wait to prove the doubters wrong, and will gladly welcome them to the bandwagon

If you are tired of negativity, hate, hoplessness, and depression being the sounds that echo from the shores of Lake Erie out across the country, then let your voice be heard and let everyone know what being a true Browns fan is all about. Dedication, Passion, Heart, Loyalty and Hope!
