Help save 77 year olds house Violet Hamilton

Could you imagine being arrested and trespassed from the home you were raised in? The place you lived for 60 years and paid taxes yearly for it? Having all your belongings thrown on the side of the road? Being homeless and suffering from alzheimers? The Hamilton's didn't but it happend to them. The state of Florida wants her house and the land that its on to add to the parkway, even though there is unoccuppied land yards away. They want to take such a dramatic approachto get what they want even though theres a less dramatic solution. They just won't hear it, instead they sit around justifying their actions with the eminent domain law. But why use that law and leave a family homeless when there's other solutions?


At anytime this could happen to you or your family member(s). When do you actually own it? When will you be safe from the eminent domain law?  The answer, until they need it. She was safe for 60 years and then a new plan came into affect and look where it left her. So please sign this petition to get the state to hear the other options. You never know you can find yourself in the same situation.
