When my son Lachlan was devastatingly stillborn at 29 weeks, we received so many momento's from the hospital including a memory box, his hand & foot prints and photos of him.
I have since been extremely dismayed to hear of many women who have walked out of hospitals in Queensland either empty handed or who were not given all of the things they should have been given to help them have memories of their precious babies.
I am petitioning the Minister for Health The Honourouble Lawrence Springborg M.P. to ENSURE that ALL Queensland Hospitals have the resources they need to provide support, counselling and memento's to women of their precious angels. In this day and age there is simply no excuse as to why women should have to be without any of these things.
Please help me and sign my petition, in memory of my son Lachlan Alan Shaw, born sleeping on the 27th September 2011.
