To amend the Dangerous dogs Act to remove the breed specific elements and to focus instead on the owners of all dogs who allow their dogs to be out of control.
To request that all authorities enforcing the Dangerous Dogs Act bring in a 48 hour cooling off period to allow owners who have signed over dogs, knowingly or otherwise, to seek independent advice and allow the option of revoking their consent if they wish to ask the courts for their dog to be returned rather than destroyed.

Back ground information:

On March 22nd 2011 at 9-45pm ,my 5 month old puppy was seized and destroyed by Merseyside Police. She was deemed to be a banned breed type. I signed forms that I was told were to show I was not coerced. I later found out I was signing to agree to Fudge's destruction.

I believe that the officers who stated Fudge was a banned breed type are not qualified to do so. I have since found out that Fudge was also too young to be properly assessed being under 9 months. An independent expert has since assessed Fudge who confirms that at present, Fudge does not have a substantial number of characteristics of a banned type.  We will never know if she would have grown into a banned type or a legal cross breed.

Nothing will bring Fudge back but i never want any one else to have this happen to them, there are no bad breeds, just bad owners, thanks for your help.  Fudge was not even 5 months old and didn't stand a chance against a law that typed her on how she looked rather than how she behaved, ...she broke no laws, did no wrong, yet she was put to death, She was dead within an hour of her being taken from me.   Thank You for helping Fudge..

DDAWatch  have helped me so much and charged me nothing can i please ask that if anyone WANTS to donate to them to be able to help more people & stop this dog cull going on, the details are
