The London Fire Brigade are yet again trying to close its Museum which is a key part of its public face and a means to promote the safety message at the heart of its mission. We oppose this and are seeking like minded people to sign a petition and write to the councillors making the decision in November 2011.
We need people to sign our online petition, and to write to the fire brigade to show their support and to join our face book group.https://www.facebook.com/groups/160368650694199/?notif_t=group_activity
Also follow us on twitter FLFBM and on our website http://flfbm.co.uk/.
Then points we would like you to raise are the positive aspects of the museum such as education, its links in the national curriculum, our work in fire safety. Any personnel experience you have had of the museum, its staff and collections. This well help show why the museum must stay open.
