Lower overpriced Taxi fares: NO TAX IN TAXI

Australia is now among the top for the highest taxi prices in the world. Particularly in Sydney, which is among the top ten most expensive in the world, charging excessive amounts for the public to utilise the only safe public transport accessible at all hours.
The Governments unwillingness to lower licensing fees, taxes or even listen to the public is resulting in continuously increasing fares across Australia. It's time to put a stop to the increasing cost of living and unfair charges that are incurred by us as the public who are given no alternative safe option.
High taxi fares are deterring people from using the transport and are ultimately increasing the rate of drink driving and unsafe methods of getting home, particularly at night.
It's time for the Government to take action on the reform and stop resisting change regardless of negative effect it will have on the value of taxi licenses payable.
