Petition Chiller TV, the all horror cable channel, to program our monster movie, PRIMITIVE.
Chiller is cutting way back on acquiring independent horror pictures for their weekly premieres to make room for more in-house productions. If they are anything like SyFy, their sister channel, the movies will be outrageous, glossy product engineered at the expense of good story telling to draw in "zappers," viewers who happen to stumble onto the program while channel surfing.
PRIMITIVE by contrast is an old-fashioned creature feature five years in the making, hand-made by lovers of the genre. It stars horror icon Reggie Bannister of the Phantasm movies, with practical monster effects designed by Tom Devlin.
Sign this petition to tell Chiller:
• True horror classics aren't born in a corporate boardroom!
• We want to see our favorite horror actors back in action!
• CGI sucks, we want practical special fx in horror movies!
• We don't need another SyFy Channel!
