Save 95 Joshua Street:Home of Dollybirds

Good people of Yorkshire, Great Britain and beyond.

We need your help.  We are campaigning to save our home, 95 Joshua Street in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.  This address is under threat of demolition because Rotherham Council is proposing to extend the A6109.  What they obviously don’t realize is, we live there.  And our house is very important to the cultural heritage of Rotherham.

We believe that our biological mother, a very well known country music star, (who can not be named for legal reason but you know who we mean) left us on the doorstep of our foster parents home, as a temporary measure in the winter of 1979.  We've lived at 95 Joshua Street ever since.  If we are forced to move she may never be able to find us and Rotherham will loose the cultural landmark that is the home of Dolly Parton’s unrecognized but totally authentic daughters. Us.

Please can you come forward and sign our petition, we hope to convince a) the prime minister and b) English Heritage that our house is disserving of a blue plaque and should receive due respect not destruction.
