Send a Cow- We should do more to help the people of Africa

Hello my name is Charlotte; I would like to thank you for taking an interest in my blog. I am trying to raise awareness about my charity, Send a Cow and the fantastic things they do.This is for my citizenship GSCE and Send a Cow is my chosen charity. Send a Cow works with poor families teaching them the skills they need to escape from poverty. They provide seeds, livestock, training and long term support to allow people to be in control of their own lives without depending on others for aid. Send a cow is different to other charities because they don't just offer a quick solution. They provide up to five years of training. They also teach about issues such as gender equality, health and family harmony which are just as vital to the success of development programmes in Africa as simple livestock provision.
