SOL: Speak Out Loud

Hello! Team Edwards of The Challenge wants to encourage youths to 'Speak Out Loud' about their personal issues. Whether it is bullying to home abuse, why should anyone be scared to speak? No one deserves that, but the problem is; who do young people go to speak out? Out of a survey 90% of young people would rather talk to people around their age about their problems, rather than an adult. So, we want to raise awareness to local councils, to get them to hire more young people as 'councillors’ and make centres for youths more known around communities such as ‘Youth 2 Youth’, ‘Connexions’ and many more; so youths know where to go, and who to speak to. In order for us to do that, and for our awareness to be a success, we want a maximum of 500 signatures, and even more. We want youths to be able to ‘Speak Out Loud’ about any of their concerns.
