Litter causes accidents (eg.kids can cut themselves on litter left on the playground, shards of glass on the road can be hazardous to vehicles),wildlife can be injured by it (think of the fact that animals don't know what not to eat and here we are, littering left and right, not thinking that some squirrel or chipmunk might eat it and become sick), and hurts our environment. (ever heard of that 'continent' of trash in the Pacific?  Yikes.)  In short, littering is horrible and has to STOP.
