Christopher BoothbyFranklin, CamptonThis is simple fairness to the landlord. We must all support this together.

Kevin WessonManchesterThis bill is extremely reasonable. Tenants that unjustly file for an appearance as a stalling tactic continue to pay rent to the court. If the tenant has a legitimate case the tenant will be refunded, if not the landlord can recoup some of their losses.
Kathy L. WolfsonMerrimack, NHApproving this bill will help everyone who is honest. Tenants who currently abuse the system and rip off the landlord by not paying rent during the eviction process will no longer be able to do so. This will help keep rents from going up as landlords won't need to charge as much to cover for thousands of rent dollars lost to non-paying tenants.
